In 2025, Kabas will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a groundbreaking Belgian ensemble in free improvisation and conceptual composition. With members like Thijs Troch, Jan Daelman, Elias Devoldere, and Nils Vermeulen, Kabas has grown into a staple of the Belgian music scene. Their latest album SUN DOG is a minimalist and cinematic sound universe filled with ambient, banjo, and electronics. Kabas continues to evolve without losing itself. From the debut Abel to Eugénie and Negen, each album shows an organic growth. SUN DOG sounds both familiar and alienating, featuring ghostly flute, pulsing bass, and ethereal percussion.
