Climate songs by and for children. A new participatory art project designed by Grace Ndiritu for the renovated Schouwburg Kortrijk.
Are you between 8 and 13 years old? Do you love singing or would you like to sing in a group? Are you interested in saving the planet and want to learn more about ecology and the environment?
Then be sure to come by for the Children Climate Choir at Muziekcentrum Track.
Children Climate Choir - A climate choir under the guidance of Diederik Glorieux.
Diederik Glorieux – musician, conductor, composer & teacher - does not shy away from any adventure. In his productions, he brings together young people and amateur or street artists with specialized musicians or ensembles. He allows the roles of creative and performing artist to flow into each other as much as possible and breaks the hierarchy between the musicians. As a teacher, Diederik Glorieux is affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and teaches at the academies of Harelbeke (H.A.P!) and Ypres (Dé Academie).
Starting Wednesday, September 9, we will be back at it.
Then you can come weekly (on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM) to Muziekcentrum Track for the Children's Climate Choir.

We are working towards a full-fledged performance on Friday, November 6, at 6:00 PM in the UTOOP hall during our opening festival.
