In a poetic fusion of dance and acrobatics, two circus artists reveal how absence doesn’t feel empty at all, but slowly transforms into a quiet, almost tangible presence in the life that continues after loss. A tender, moving dialogue between life and death, longing and memory.

In 'SEUIL', circus artists Marius and Aimé share a deeply personal story, bound by the same loss: the death of a close mutual friend. Cie Inéluctable invites you into their intimate world, where absence does not feel empty but becomes a quiet, almost tangible presence in the life that continues after loss.

In a poetic fusion of acrobatics and dance, a unique circus language emerges - bodies moving as one. They carry and release, lean and rise again. Every gesture is charged yet never heavy, as if the invisible is gently made visible.

You are drawn into a sensitive journey, a hushed dialogue between life and memory, where the living and their dead meet softly.

With this powerful creation, Cie Inéluctable secures one of the four laureate positions of the European platform Circusnext in 2025.

SOIREE PERPLX staat garant voor een kwalitatieve middag of avond hedendaags circus, met een zorgvuldig samengestelde selectie van de beste voorstellingen. PERPLX kiest bewust voor voorstellingen die verrassen, authentiek zijn en/of het publiek weten te verwonderen met ongezien circuswerk.

De voorstellingen worden georganiseerd in samenwerking met cultuurhuizen. In Kortrijk is Schouwburg Kortrijk een vaste partner.

PERPLX is een van de vijf circuswerkplaatsen die structureel ondersteund worden door de Vlaamse overheid. De organisatie ondersteunt nieuwe circusmakers door hen een fysieke werkplek te bieden in Kortrijk om aan hun voorstelling te werken. Daarnaast kunnen makers rekenen op een coproductiebudget en artistiek advies om hun idee uit te werken tot een volwaardige voorstelling.
