#SBS 4.2: CHEVALSKI
CHEVALSKI, heavy Meens growl drenched in melancholy, explores the boundaries of sludge, post-metal, and hardcore. The band formed in the autumn of 2021 and consists of singer/bassist Arthur Daneels, guitarists Simon Vanhaute and Victor Lemonnier, and drummer Louis Devlies.
They characterize themselves with deep and dark guitars that take you from intense melancholic dreams to a dark unrest, and back.
Live, Arthur sways with his companions between energetic drive and intimate performance. The singer tells a story of how he, just like society, struggles with changes and is therefore searching for a new balance. The fluctuations between extremely intense and extremely soft reflect how he romanticizes his personal experiences with love, fear, and imagination.
