Curated by Grace NdirituA message of hope and action!Sun 10 Jan ’27In the context of the total installation ‘The Last Days of Ancient Sunlight’ by London‑based artist Grace Ndiritu, Schouwburg Kortrijk will appoint a ‘Forest Laureate’ each year starting January 2027: an inspiring thinker who opens the year with a message of hope and action. The very first Forest Laureate is David Van Reybrouck, currently the ‘Denker des Vaderlands’ (Thinker of the Netherlands).
