Are we truly free today? Five dancers from four countries each confront, in their own way, a system that shapes citizens’ desires and cultivates blindness. All five turn to the spiritual dance form krump as an emotional outlet - a way to reconnect with their deepest selves and their roots.

“In a world where we believe we are free, where everything seems normal and every gesture is fleeting - are we truly free to think for ourselves.”

'BLIND' exposes both the conscious and unconscious blindness of citizens, fuelled by a system that manufactures unattainable desires. Five dancers - from Belgium, Spain, France and Senegal — find themselves confronted with the same story in different corners of the world.

Each responds in their own way, shaped by their personal experience. Steeped in spirituality, the dance form krump becomes their outlet: a forceful way to express their deepest identity and honour their roots.
