This international acoustic jazz ensemble, built around the pure vocal talent of Vanessa Matthys, delivers a highly acclaimed blend of contemporary jazz, timeless standards, and classic pop songs. At times intimate and refined, at times powerful and untamed — always breathtakingly beautiful.

The Vanessa Matthys Quartet is the acoustic jazz ensemble built around the charismatic Belgian jazz vocalist Vanessa Matthys. Joined by Dominique Vantomme (piano), Werner Lauscher (bass), and Geert Roelofs (drums), she brings together an international quartet (BE/D/NL) in which vocals take center stage in a truly distinctive way. There is room for storytelling and haunting melodies, as well as for virtuosic themes and improvisation. Rooted in traditional jazz yet reaching toward the sonic worlds of E.S.T., Gretchen Parlato, and Kurt Elling.

In May 2026, they release their new album 'The Secret Vault', featuring their much‑loved blend of contemporary jazz, traditionals, and timeless pop classics, all wrapped in a unique jazz aesthetic. Expect an evening that warms both heart and ears: intimate and refined, yet equally powerful and untamed.
