Sing in 'NOW WE ARE EARTH / An Orchestra'

‘NOW WE ARE EARTH / An Orchestra’ is a musical and visual dance opera by theatre maker Nicole Beutler. The performance will be shown in our theatre (OAAS hall) on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 December. For these performances, we are looking for singing enthusiasts who would like to help bring this production to life. Whether you are a seasoned singer or simply enjoy singing, everyone is welcome!

The performance

NOW WE ARE EARTH is a love letter to the earth and a call for more harmony and connection. Under the direction of composer Timo Tembuyser and with the electronic beats of Gary Shepherd, the performance brings together professional performers, composers, and local singers. Together we create a unique, unforgettable experience.

Het Koor

The choir, consisting of 45-50 singers, forms the beating heart of the performance. It symbolizes diversity, collaboration, and the strength of local communities. Under the direction of conductor Tristan Knelange, you will work during rehearsals on three- and four-part English melodies. These melodies repeat and grow increasingly complex and intense.

We are looking for enthusiasts who would like to sing along during this performance. You don't need any choir or singing experience. Just a lot of enthusiasm to participate.
