The twin sisters Kristina and Sadé Alleyne combine athletic power with delicate elegance. In 'A Night’s Game', they dance against an encroaching darkness, exploring what freedom means - and what it means to lose it. An atmospheric performance that continues to resonate long after.

It is already an exceptional experience to see identical twins dance. These two performers are also among the most remarkable figures in the British dance world. Kristina and Sadé Alleyne combine powerful contemporary technique with Afro-Caribbean movement, kathak (North India), hip hop, and acrobatics.

In 'A Night’s Game', the sisters present an emotionally charged, energetic duet set against the backdrop of the threat of confinement and the loss of freedom, based on true events. With strength and at the same time fragile elegance, they dance in defiance of this looming darkness. The choreography earned them the title of Best Female Dancers at the 2019 Der Theater Verlag Awards.
