A boy dreams ahead, an older woman looks back. Between moving boxes and memories, two opposites nudge each other out of their familiar walls. A playful and touching performance in a rotating set where dance, acrobatics, imagery and language flow together.

In the playful and poetic dance‑theatre performance 'POR', past and future meet in the present. Two living rooms rotate around their axis. In one room, a boy tries to find his place among the moving boxes. The other room belongs to an older woman who surrounds herself with cherished memories. Both look in opposite directions: the boy dreams ahead, the woman looks back. Yet neither of them truly takes a step.

Gradually, they discover that there is more than their own small world. Routine gives way to curiosity, and without realising it, these two opposites gently prod each other out of their familiar walls. 'POR' reveals a unique clash and fusion of generations, where memories and dreams ultimately make room for the power of the here and now.

dOFt creates surprising, playful and impactful dance theatre for young audiences, rooted in artistic research. At the heart of their work lies the dialogue between movement, text, music and scenography, resulting in a remarkably original storytelling language. dOFt previously visited with the warmly received 'Dummies' and 'Foon'.
