In this fiery solo performance, Nagham Salam Mohamed permanently shifts our perspective on growing older. Drawing from her African roots, she celebrates the aging body as a source of strength, creativity, and transformation, boldly defying stereotypes about age and aesthetics.

‘Inhabiting my body’ redefines the presence of the mature body in contemporary dance and breaks through stereotypes surrounding age and aesthetics.

Nagham Salam Mohamed explores the experiences of women, particularly those of African women (with Sudanese roots and Egyptian nationality). Movement becomes a language through which time, memory, and transformation are expressed.

The work invites you to view aging as a creative force rather than a limitation. The body appears as a living archive in which experience deepens meaning and presence.
