Four individuals stand on the threshold of a new era. One wants to push evolution forward, another longs for the good old days. And meanwhile, history keeps rushing on. An irritating, hilarious and moving situation - or simply life as it has always been.

We stand on the threshold of a new era. Not a pleasant place to be. The old world is being dismantled, and no one knows what will take its place. Democratic rules bring autocrats to power, protests have no effect. We watch the images and feel the consequences. A paralysing sense of powerlessness makes our courage sink. We learn to look the other way.

Meanwhile, our individual lives keep unfolding. We build careers. We sleep with people. Children arrive. They need to go to school. They can’t keep up. They turn out to have ADHD, autism, high intelligence, or… whatever. Kids are just strange these days. And then there’s everyone’s sexual orientation. Infidelity! We try an open relationship, but that doesn’t really work either.

So even in our personal lives, we feel the discomfort of the threshold. One wants to push evolution forward, another longs for a good old time. And history? It keeps rushing on.

In the theatre performance 'Moeder Theresa was razend!', four individuals stand on that threshold. It is maddening, hilarious and moving. Just like human life, in essence, has always been.
