The nationally and internationally acclaimed Ryelandt Trio pays tribute to forgotten gems from our own soil. Few ensembles combine musical heritage and contemporary chamber music with such finesse.

Founded in Bruges, the Ryelandt Trio distinguishes itself with compelling programmes that appeal to a wide audience, often placing forgotten gems from our own soil at the centre. In doing so, the trio acts as an ambassador for Flemish musical heritage, with a particular focus on composers such as Joseph Ryelandt, Joseph Callaerts and Karel Mestdagh.

Their albums receive glowing praise from outlets like De Standaard and enjoy regular airplay on Klara, BRF 1 and France Musique. The trio also creates remarkable projects, including Ryelandt Trio plays Frank Zappa at BOZAR and Liefs, Beethoven, a music‑theatre production with Thomas Blondelle. They frequently premiere works by contemporary composers, collaborating with figures such as Robert Groslot, Jasper Charlet and Mathias Coppens.

The trio has earned national and international recognition at competitions, including a first prize at the Concours Léopold Bellan in Paris and the audience award at Supernova in deSingel.

In collaboration with Wilde Westen & Conservatorium Kortrijk.
