‘Sleight of Hand’ is a tactile installation for curious fingers and disbelieving eyes.
This exuberant work, which turns the concept of a touch tour on its head, invites audiences to take part in a series of tactile encounters with unfamiliar objects, materials, and matter.

By integrating audio description, tactile design, choreography, and an immersive soundscape, ‘Sleight of Hand’ explores what we can discover when we loosen our grip on the familiar visual world and let our senses run free …

A recurring thread in Bannon’s work is her idiosyncratic humor and her unstoppable fascination with objects, visual perception, and how strange the ordinary world really is.
