Thomas stands completely alone on stage. No one to play with - except his own imagination. SOLO is a tender and funny cabaret for young children about being alone, and about everything you can discover when you let your imagination take the lead.

Thomas stands alone on stage.
No one wants to play with him.
No brother.
No sister.
Just Thomas
and Thomas alone.

So he starts imagining.
Trees and bears,
ladies and gentlemen,
birds without feathers
learning little magic tricks.

Playing 'SOLO' isn’t always fun. But what is that feeling, really - that being alone?

'SOLO!' is the brand‑new cabaret performance for young children by Thomas van Caeneghem and Lander Severins, the duo behind 'BOTSKOP', 'Akke Akke Tuut' and 'Stokpaardprins'. This time, Thomas is truly on his own. Alone with his loneliness, and alone with his imagination. Luckily, he still has his guitar. And a strange sort of speaker waiting in the wings.
