Bas Birker belongs to the smartest two percent of the population. But what good is a sharp mind when your emotions run off with you at full speed? His sixth theatre show is once again a sharply critical -a nd above all brilliantly funny - analysis of himself and the world around us.

In his newest comedy show, Bas Birker dives into the wondrous world beneath his skull. Because even if you’ve relied on pure reason for more than 40 years - simply because you never learned anything else - once your emotions suddenly take over, you run into yourself so often and so hard that you could practically start a double act with… yourself.

And so Bas tells the story of how a smart kid ended up doing stupid things. And why having a simple view of the world can be a blessing - while thinking you know everything is more of a curse. Whether you belong to the vast majority, or to that two percent.

Birker staat als een sportman op scène, met zijn voorbereiding die hij tot in de puntjes zal uitvoeren maar klaar om een extra bocht te nemen waar nodig.
