With 'GROUND' you witness an explosive diptych. S.T.U.C.K. channels the raw urgency of waacking, while Bounce lets the collective energy of freestyle hip-hop vibrate through the space. Together they form a celebration of expression, rhythm and connection.

After introducing krump, new style and break in 2024, Maison de la danse now presents two creations that reflect the diversity of hip-hop and club culture:

‘S.T.U.C.K.’ (45 min.)

Mounia Nassangar’s first choreographic work offers a new perspective on waacking and explores how dance can step in when words fall short. The result is a powerful performance that breaks through the limits of language and puts pure expression at the centre. Drawing from a history of oppression, the five dancers bring an urgent, physical form of storytelling to life: when words fail, the body speaks.

‘BOUNCE’ (40 min.)

'BOUNCE' unites nine freestyle hip-hop dancers in an energetic performance where music and movement constantly respond to one another. The “bounce” fuels their bodies and creates a dynamic exchange that culminates in a collective celebration. The outcome is an infectious performance full of rhythm, connection and flow.
